The Feast, Saturday Evening

On Saturday evening, some of Mountain Freehold's fine cooks will be presenting a two-course feast for 75 of our closest friends. The feast will be served outdoors, under a spacious tent with optional walls. In a long tradition of Panteria Feast Wonderfulness, Her Grace Duchess Marieke will tantalize your tastebuds and draw you under her magical spell with a sumptuous Feast to begin at 6 PM.

Cooks' Guild

Let us whet your appetite with mention of beef, chicken, hand-made spinach-herb raviolis, a soup of fresh green peas, salads, stuffed eggs -- have we gotten your attention yet?

The cooks will be Lisabetta, Erasmus and Duchess Marieke. The incomparable Lady Allie will be organizing the servers and helpers during the day and evening. To offer your help -- please! -- get in touch.

A detailed ingredient list will be posted near the kitchen on the day of the feast and Marieke or Allie would be happy to show it to you. People who would like to discuss in advance any allergy concerns, or questions about the ingredients, should contact Duchess Marieke.

Magic in the Mountains

First Remove:

A Wave of Her Magic Wand (actually a spoon)
Soup of fresh green peas (vegetarian broth)
Bread with olive oil & herb dipping sauce
Meat Pies
Handmade herb & spinach-stuffed raviolis
A separately-served cream sauce for the raviolis
Cardamon-almond cakes

Second Remove:

The Second Wave of Her Magic Wand completes the Spell.
Chicken with white wine and leeks
Caramelized onions on roundels of bread
Green salad
Stuffed egg halves
Balsamic strawberries
Shortbread

* The menu is, of course, subject to change upon the whim of the Feastocrat and the availability of ingredients!

Feast Fees:

$15 fee per person, limited to 75 seated guests.
We request that those who wish to attend feast pre-register by May 15th. As the Feast sells quickly, the only guaranteed seat is a paid seat!
